Assassin´s Creed Shadows is the new Ubisoft game that seeks to improve the company's image, no wonder it was postponed several times. With his launch on March 20, the audience finally managed to play the game and draw their own conclusions, but did Ubisoft be able to please most of its audience? This is what we will see today.

Analysis about Assassin´s Creed Shadows

Assassin's Creed Shadows is a game set in feudal Japan and tells the story of Naoe, a shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, an African samurai. Together, they set out in a battle against the Templars trying to control Japan, facing enemies and meeting new allies along the way. The game brings dynamic gameplay that mixes stealth with battle, with Naoe focused on a stealth style and Yasuke for hand-to-hand combat, bringing new mechanics such as parrying, changing characters in the middle of the game or even the season system that the game has.

Ubisoft's new game was played in advance by the press a day before its release, generating several videos on the Youtube platform that showed what the story, characters and other aspects that will be present in Assassin's Creed Shadows would be like. After playing the game, most of them liked it, even though there were bugs and errors they encountered while playing, giving it a score of 81 on Metacritic. When the game was released to the rest of the public on March 20, it received a positive review from the majority of the public, but there were a large number of people who didn't like the game, saying that they didn't like the style of the game, the microtransaction system it has, the story it tells or simply accusing the new game of being too “Woke".

On the Metacritic website, user reviews currently have an average score of 5.7 on the Playstation, Xbox and PC platforms, with the platform with the most negative scores being the PC with a score of 4.9 and the most positive being the Playstation with 5.6. On the Steam platform, however, Assassin's Creed Shadows has 6,525 reviews and 81% of those reviews are positive, showing that the majority of people who bought the game on Steam liked it. One of the problems commented on Steam's reviews is that the game is simply not opening or closing the gameplay game without any reason, it has also been reported bugs that affect players such as audio disappearing out of nowhere and optimization problems the game is facing.
